Hospital: A new meaning!!!!

3rd December, 2015
Inside MRI scan machine
8.07am

Pain! it deserves to be felt! there is a certain limit of pain which one can bear..and I'm not talking about the internal pain, that we all carry always for someone or the other..I'm talking about the physical pain..

The more we grow, age wise,we become used to these pains!we got a hurt from bed,its ok..got hurt from door, its ok, got hurt from a stone, its ok etc etc. there is an indirect relationship between the pain felt and complain about it.. the more we grow, the less we complain..

But,do you remember the first tie you felt that excruciating pain? there is always a time when you feel something for the 1st time..sometimes its a very tender age and sometimes its at a very advanced stage of your life!i felt it at the age of 25!

Its 5.27am by the clock in my phone and i plan to wake up..the very 1st step on the ground just triggered a nerve bend and i fall down!i could not feel my left leg..only thing i could feel was pain!unbearable pain!the kind of pain i had for the very 1st time in my life!

My parents woke up with a jerk and did almost everything possible to reduce it temporarily..all their efforts went in vain..the pain kept on increasing..it was as if the pan was on a mission and was increasing with every effort i did to stop it!

Dad rushed me to the nearest clinic. the doctor was not up till then but god bless that soul,he came down just to see me..i could not move but i could hear everything..he asked me to get a MRI scan done and visit him in the hospital.

Ive always seen the MRI in movies or sitcoms but never saw it the way i did today. this time,i was in it! for full 10minutes i was in that machine and trust me,these were the longest 10minutes of my life..in those 10minutes i actually lived my 25yrs of life all over again..

People say that when we met an accident,we saw whole of our lives revolve in front of us. i could now relate to them.. i saw myself,my parents, my relatives, my friends..i felt going away from them..it was just an MRI but for someone who never saw, heard or felt anything like that in real life ever,it was traumatising!

I was worried, for everyone, about everything!i would have entered a different phase but the process ended and i came back to my senses. i thought everything is ok now..the reports will come and the doc will prescribe some medicines and il be back to my normal state! i knew very little about what was about to be unfolded!

We went to the hospital and i was admitted!i had drip on my right hand!i can still feel that pinch which i felt when they pierced the needle into my vain! dad was there..i could see the tension that gathered on his face..i could sense the tension in maa's voice, i could feel the tension in the jokes my sis cracked to make me feel better!

The doc came,it was a case of slip disc! just a FYI,if a doctor says Oh My God, one should not be scared..though i did not know that,i was scared when i heard these 3 magical words! he just announced that we require a surgical intervention! he was looking at me as if i understood whatever he said!!dude,im not a doctor!u need to talk in a layman's language!

Dad came to my rescue, like always!doc asked for a surgery to be done but somehow dad and me both were reluctant!i did not say anything but deep inside i was wishing that i dint require a surgery!and dad said the exact same words!he asked the doc to wait and went to some other doctor for a second opinion. the other doc said that we can manage without a surgery also and see how my body reacts and finally i was discharged!

I was there fro two days, the food they gave me was not less than what you might get in jail or something..it was eerie..staying there, spending the night there..with all the negativity all around!

Till now,i was being addresses by my name only, wherever i went but for the very 1st time i was just a patient who was not required to be addressed by his name! it was as if you were a chicken, piled up with other chickens and for the butcher you were just another piece of meat!

Nevertheless, we are back home now but im on a complete bed rest..though i need to go o a doc every alternate day..mom is worried, dad is worried!im worried! instead of being a support to them, ive just become a pressure! i need to get well soon!

Now, why did i write all this?? if you are reading this,u need to understand one thing which i learnt the hard way,u need to take care of yourself!either you have people dependent on you or you will have people dependent on you! you never know how and when life will struck you down, in order to get back up u need to take the best care of yourself in whatever way you can!its actually the survival of the fittest..it doesn't matter if you are slim, lean or fat..u need to be fit,in whatever shape you are!

If this piece of writing can make a difference to even a single person,i guess my purpose would be succeeded!

Take Care

Guy who made me listen to Radio!

18th April 2015
12.37pm
Lost in the old memories

"Aaah, what a tea!", the words that came to mind as I took a sip of the new flavour of green tea I got. I am new to this so its inevitable that I hate green teas, but this one made me craving for another round.

Its amazing how a single sip can take you so deep in the past that you feel as if it happened yesterday. Date was 27th June,2011, the pioneering Orientation Programme batch which our institute thought would help students in their future!

Yes,I giggled too, but today,4yrs later you realise, they were right!

So, the very first batch was planned and luckily I, with my 9 other friends, got a seat in the same. I was happy, not because I got a seat in the batch people were dying for, but because all the 9 other friends were girls!

I know,happiness to the core!! ^_^

The 1st 3 days were good, nothing very exciting happened, thou we had fun(obviously) but the connection one has with the faculty was missing!
Then came 27th and we were seated at 8.45am sharp. We had in front of us a guy, looking early in his 30s, with neatly combed hair, doing something on the laptop, probably setting up the slides, in a navy blue blazer! I was thinking, "bhai ko garmi nhi lagti kya?"
But he had a charm, had something that attracted the whole class towards him. we were out of doubt in the very first 5 minutes of the session.

BEST.SESSION.EVER

We had an amazing time, our outlook changed towards everything, the things he taught, the way he spoke, the aura he carried, the charm he had, the spark he ignited among us, made  a difference!

He left as soon as the session was over. He did not tell his name till the end and when he left, We were so mesmerised that we dint even ask for it! maybe some did. a class always have students who would buzz around the faculty like bees and seek solutions for life!! god bless the faculties who deal with this!

He left, his wordings, his teachings stayed! he did an activity which I loved to the extreme, played the same with my friends and other sessions which I took! and yes of course credit goes to him.

Next date, 3yrs later, July 2104, same Institute, we meet again!

I saw him, the same neatly combed hair, a safari suit this time and the very same activity! and I knew the answer. it was as if I was living the same class again!

One of the best sessions we had that day.

I am used to listening songs on my phone or just over the Ipod. I do not like listening to songs on radio coz now the songs come in between the commercials, earlier in the days it was the other way round!
But he made me listen to radio voluntarily! reason?? he works on a radio station! And thanks to his regular updates. I know when he is on the radio.

I remember, his show was being aired and he asked for a question and I quickly sent the answer. Having your name called on radio is one of the best feelings ever. He read my message along with my name!! that moment was truly bliss full (a smile just escaped my mouth)

When we meet a person, we get a vibe from him or her. trust me on this thing, this soul has the strongest positive vibes Ive ever felt. Finding a silver lining to every thing, knowing what he is going after, handling the fame, getting a hold of how things has to be done, taking initiative or if required, taking charge!! He is like an epitome of perfection!

Yes, there must be flaws, but in some cases the negatives cannot overshadow the positives!

Recently did an event with him and I had nothing major to do but still i loved it. I do look forward to have more arrangements of universe where I can be of any help and I'll be readily available.

On this day, I just want to thank you sir for making me who I am,for considering me one to be trustworthy, for sharing your thoughts and thinking which we all could adopt while rising the stairs of growth in life, thank you for just being there!

Reason for such a gesture??
Its coz today is your a birthday.

Wish you a very Happy Birthday sir, may you achieve all what you deserve! Have a rocking year ahead with all the happiness coming your way!! God bless!!
